“I just hated to see people unable to move forward in their lives,” she said.
In the 20 years since she began FIT, nearly 4,200 unemployed and underemployed Nevadans have found jobs that pay enough to make them able to support a family without public assistance.
Crystal has over 20 years’ experience in the non-profit sector focusing on the betterment of the community and its people. “I am so happy to be working for FIT and seeing how FIT is changing the lives of Las Vegans one person at a time.” In her spare time, Crystal likes to read true crime novels, travel and spend time with her Godchildren in California.
Donna, B.A. Hofstra University, and a licensed CPA, is responsible for fiscal and compliance monitoring for each program and grant.
When Donna isn’t crunching numbers at the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog and her husband.

Richard is our resident IT department and is responsible for maintaining the servers, workstations, software programs, and both websites for FIT and the Academy. He enjoys all things Star Wars, playing video games, and spending time with his family.
Fabiola, currently studying accounting at the College of Southern Nevada, says “Everyone here is very caring, loving and sincere about helping others. We all care about the community.”
She adds: “I enjoy hiking with my girls on the weekends.”
Anyone and everyone who steps in the FIT facility always remarks how clean and beautiful our building is. That’s because of our Facility Manager, Tony. Tony enjoys his collection of DVDs and riding his motorcycle.

Anna enjoys traveling and live music in her spare time.
UNLV graduate, Ashley says: “Helping clients get on their feet is invaluable. I love the team here.”
In her time off, Ashley loves to read, spend time with her husband and cat, travel and attend events at the Smith Center.
Brandon was previously a chef and has always enjoyed working with people. He is currently working on his degree in Criminal Justice.
His favorite food is In-N-Out burgers. In his spare time he collects comic books.
B.A. Psychology UC Davis. David was born and raised in the bay area of California. He and his wife recently moved to Las Vegas in the pursuit of a better life and to start a family.
"I knew I was born to help people and working with FIT gives me the ability to pursue that passion. I believe in the golden rule of treating people the way I would want to be treated if I were in their shoes."
Throughout Josue’s life, he always dreamed of becoming a person who could serve the Las Vegas community in a great way. Josue takes great pride in finding the fire behind people’s motivations and helping them see it so they may grow to realize their own potential. “Being employed at FIT allows me to live my dream and help others pursue theirs. One of my favorite quotes states “the ideal person bears the accidents of life with dignity and grace, making the best of all circumstances”.
Growing up Karla dreamed of becoming a radio host but after getting her first job as a Case Manager, helping others became her true passion. Karla truly enjoys seeing others succeed and growing into their full potential and purpose. “Working at FIT allows me to follow this passion and the staff really make this an enjoyable place. I love cooking and spending family time with my husband and children.”

B.A., Eastern Michigan University, recalls a highlight was the time a client called to wish her happy birthday. “Watching people beat the odds even when they doubt themselves is incredible.”
Rita loves to travel, read books and attend concerts.
M.S.W, Hawaii Pacific University Roshian has been working with the justice involved population for 8 years, helping people to reintegrate back into society. "Working here at FIT allows me to continue to help people from different backgrounds find stable employment and reach their vocational goals."

B.S from University of Phoenix and is currently working on his PsyD in I/O Psychology. A native of South Central Los Angeles, Ricky is a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and avid snowboarder, he likes to spend most of his time with family and friends.
“I came to FIT to help those who came from the same environment as me. I understand the hurdles and obstacles they face. I just want them to see that with determination and relentless will anything is possible.”
For five years, Salina has been the administrative support for the case management team. She notes: “We have a pretty awesome team. The group dynamic makes working here really pleasant.”
Salina enjoys sewing, baking and hanging out with her family.
